Topology In Networks

     Well on this time we are going to discuss something about of network topologies.Topology is the structure of the network,It have the list of structures for the network.Some topologies are used widely and some topology was flopped.There are various types of Topology they are.

•   Bus Topology
•   Star Topology
•   Ring Topology
•   Mesh Topology
•   Extended Star Topology

     The above topology is used for the communication medium in the network.Bus topology is one of the mostly used topology because it contain the single cable to connect all the host in the network.
     Bus topology contain the token ,every time the token  will receive at the other end.It increases the time delay in the network.it contain the disadvantage when the cable fails then the entire network will be down.
     Star Topology is one of the most widely used topology because it contain the centralized server or PC.It is full duplex,which means two and fro can send the data simultaneously.If any of the cable is disabled then it will not affect the entire network.The cost of the cabling is high while comparing to other topology.
     Mesh Topology is the one which used the token to transfer the data in the network,it is also full duplex and it will not affect the entire network when the cable fails.
     Ring Topology form a ring structure,its like looping.The token will travel on the ring and that is used to transmit the data.If the cable is failed at any end then the entire network will be down state.
