Well on this time we are going to see how to make a pendrive as bootable in windows 7.First you need to insert the pendrive and then open the command prompt.To do that goto start,program files and then accessories,then select the cmd.
After it opens type the following command to make pendrive bootable.Type "Diskpart"in the command prompt ,then type List disk in the command prompt and then it will show the list of disk in the command prompt.
Now you need to select the disk for that type the following command "Select Disk 2"(respected pendrive disk)after that it will show that you have been selected the respected disk in the command prompt.
Now you need to clean the disk to do that type the following command "Clean" it will clean the entire disk.After that you need to create the partition in the pendrive as primarity for storing the respected data.To do that type the following command "create primary partition",after created the partition you need to select the partition using the following command "select partition primary".
After selecting the partition you need to active the partition for perform the following task "Active".Once you did active you need to format the disk,to do that type the following command.
Diskpart>format FS=NTFS
Once you typed this command it will take few minutes to complete the task.After finishing format now you need to assign the particular disk using the following command "Assign".After that type "exit".
Next you need to copy the boot folder of your windows 7 OS for make it as bootable.Go to the windows setup then copy boot folder path then paste it in the command prompt.
To do that copy the path then type in command prompt "cd d:\boot" now the code will place in the command prompt.If it is not done means then then type the respective folder in the command prompt then type the path(d: then hit enter then type the path command "cd d:\boot").
Now type the following command in the command prompt.
d:\boot>Bootsect.exe /NT60 E:
Bootsect.exe is used to load as bootable pendrive,E: is the destination directory of your pendrive.After this close the command prompt once its completed,now copy the entire Os files to your pendrive .Thats it your pendrive is bootable.
