Amazon has made changes to its Return Policies for Mobile phones. This policy will be implemented from February 7th onwards.
As for policy, If you purchase a Mobile phone and you received a defect product you can only ask for a replacement. Amazon won't provide any refunds and the Replacement of Mobile Phone is only applicable if your asking for replacement within 10 days of purchase.
We don't know the reason for the dramatic change most propably Users would have taken advantage of the policy by asking for a replacement or refund for a working mobile or any other reasons.
While other Online retailers like Flipkart, Snapdeal did not make any change in the policy and yeah,its a good thing for us.
From Amazon perspective this policy change will be good for business and from Users point of view its surely an head ache when they receive a defective/damaged product for real.
We have to wait and see if this policy change will affect their sales or not!.
