Meizu and canonical have launched their second Ubuntu smartphone, Meizu Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition. This smarphone was launched ahead before the upcoming MWC 2016 trade show though price and availability details are not revealed. Ubuntu Edition is same as Meizu Pro 5 which was released last year except for OS difference everything is same.

Meizu Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition sports a 5.7 Inch Amoled display with FullHD resolution at a pixel density of 387ppi and for protection it bears Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Ubuntu Edition features a 21.16mp camera with Sony IMX 230 CMOS sensor along with Dual tone Led flash on the Rear and 5mp Front camera for selfies.
This handset is powered by Samsung Exynos 7420 octa core processor with Mali T760 MP8 GPU. It runs on Ubuntu OS and mixed with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM. Meizu Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition get power from a 3050mAH battery.
